Disney Launched Their First-Ever Princess Subscription Boxes – Just in Time for Christmas

Growing up, did you dream of becoming a princess? Maybe you longed to be a mermaid like Ariel or you wanted to live in a castle with a huge library like Belle. Or maybe you didn’t idolize the traditional princesses, and instead, you loved Mulan and Pocahontas. Whoever your favorite Disney princess was, you probably spent hours playing dress up pretending to be them. Many of us did!

We might be a little too old now to actually still play pretend, but Disney just released their first princess subscription box. It is called the Disney Princess Enchanted Collection, where “a box of treasures from a Disney Princess arrives on your doorstep every other month.”

Now, this isn’t exactly a cheap subscription, especially given that it is geared toward children. The boxes start at $49.99 a month, though that does include shipping and handling. Right now, there are two different types of subscriptions.

These boxes come in children’s sizes 3 through 10. You can choose from three different options when subscribing for these boxes, either a year plan, a 6-month plan, or a box-to-box plan (this is a pricier option). This might be on the expensive side for an everyday gift for your child or niece, but it does make for a great Christmas present if you were looking to splurge a little on them this year. The first princess box that will ship out is Belle and it will arrive before December 25th.

Kids aren’t the only ones who can enjoy all of the princess fun. Just this year, Disney introduced adult makeovers in Walt Disney World (sorry California visitors and residents). Adults traveling to Orlando, Florida to visit Disney World can get a princess of villain makeover of their choice. You can get your hair, nails, and makeup done in the style of a classic Disney character for $120.
