Although I live in a first-floor apartment, I’m always a little paranoid about leaving my blinds wide open. That, combined with the overwhelming warming power of the sun pouring through my windows, means I keep my front curtains drawn a lot of the time. While that keeps me feeling cooler and more comfortable, it also leaves my living space feeling a little dark.

But scattering little lights around my apartment helps it feel cool and cozy, so I’m always on the lookout for a new table lamp for my living room. And recently I came across what might just be my new favorite: the 15″ Everywhere Touch Table Lamp by Valerie from QVC.

What Is the Everywhere Touch Table Lamp by Valerie?

This 15-inch-tall metal cordless lamp has the look of a chic light fixture, but is highly portable. Because you charge it using a USB-C cable (which it comes with), you can pick it up and move it around your home where you need a little more light or ambiance. It has three levels of brightness and an easy on/off button right on top.

It comes in three colors — black, white, and denim blue — although there’s a similar (and slightly more expensive) model that comes in bronze and brushed silver, too.

Why We’re Into It

Honestly, I never spent much time perusing QVC until I heard from a few of my fellow Apartment Therapy editors how many gems are hiding on the site. I don’t find it to be the most intuitive site to explore — it feels less like a curated boutique and more like a treasure-filled thrift store, so you have to be down for the thrill of the hunt — but my little cheat code is to ignore the navigation and either search by sale (they’re currently having a Christmas in July sale through the end of the month) or by the item I’m looking for.

Because I’m interested in a new mini table lamp, I typed “table lamp” into the search bar and up came over 300 options — but the Everywhere Touch Table Lamp was right at the top. Right away, I was drawn to the thin stem and round base, which reminds me of the popular table lamps I always see at New York restaurants

I can easily envision placing it in the middle of my dining table to set the ambiance for dinner, then picking it up and moving it to my mantel for a little extra light while I’m lounging around, and then carrying it with me to my bedroom as an extra bedside light while I wind down.

Serendipitously, the Everywhere Touch Table Lamp is on clearance sale right now for $30, so I may just have to add one (or two — a matching set might be too cute to pass up) to my cart before it’s gone. A chic addition that lights up my living room without making it any hotter? Yes, please.

Buy: 15″ Everywhere Touch Table Lamp by Valerie, $29.99 (normally $46)
