Using the sleek device is incredibly simple: Lift the top to access the water tank, add 10-15 drops of essential oil, set it to high or low, and get ready to feel the aromatherapeutic effects of the refreshing mist. The Halo holds roughly a half-gallon of water (tap or distilled) and blows a cool mist that you can direct by rotating the outlet at the top. It sounds like a gentle fan and emits non-distracting, minimal light that you can dim or turn off completely.

And while it’s a calming presence in the room, the diffuser on The Halo is powerful. My air purifier across the room can even detect the shift in the environment when the scented mist starts flowing.
