Check Out This Haunted Mansion-Themed DIY Bathroom

Halloween might still be a few months away, but it’s never too early to get in the spirit of the season. TikTok user @arielsarts did just that by renovating her bathroom to look like Disneyland’s The Haunted Mansion. In her video, she shows the DIY process of how she did it.

First, she spray paints her accessories, like her picture frames and plant pot, black. Then, she paints her walls the same color before adding black-and-gold wallpaper. For the shower curtain, she hangs up a purple one with a pattern depicting ghouls.

With big parts of the bathroom done, she focuses on the details and fills the space with antique-looking pieces. For instance, her shelves contain an elaborate tissue holder and a golden elephant statue, as well as a black lamp that resembles a set of candles. There are also plants too, to give the room more color. On the counter, there’s a toothbrush holder, a soap dispenser, and a candelabra, all also in black. 

And finally, for the finishing touches, she hangs up photos of the characters from the film, plus some portraits of Jack Skellington and Oogie Boogie from Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas”. 

According to @arielsarts, she bought most of the items from thrift stores and flea markets, but the shower curtain, Haunted Mansion sign, shelves, and the removable wallpaper, all came from Amazon. And as to where she puts all the bathroom clutter — i.e., hair products, combs, and towels — she said that, “There are a lot of cabinets and drawers below the mirror.”
