High on my list of pet peeves is the feeling I get when a drawer won’t open all the way because of the mountain of junk crammed inside. I’m left trying to squeeze my hand through the narrow opening to clear the clutter just enough to open the drawer. Then the hunt for what I actually need begins if I can even remember at this point. It’s like nails on a chalkboard, or someone hitting your heels with a shopping cart, or your partner asking you what’s for dinner (if you know, you know).

Quick Overview

A Quick Look at The Home Edit 6 Piece Office Drawer Edit

  • Affordable and versatile
  • Modular, stackable storage system
  • Made of BPA-free plastic

But it doesn’t have to be this way. You can conquer the junk drawer chaos with The Home Edit 6 Piece Office Drawer Edit set, winner in Apartment Therapy’s first-ever Organization Awards. There’s something about tiny drawer cubbies that keeps people from cramming too many items into a space. I don’t know how it works (magic?); I just know that it is much more effective than passive-aggressive sticky notes.

You don’t even have to measure the length and width of the drawer. Just order the six-piece set, and arrange them in whatever configuration fits best. At under $20, you could even buy a few sets and have enough to mix and match across multiple rooms. Just make sure your drawers have at least a 3-inch depth, as some reviewers complained that their drawers were too shallow for this set.

The Home Edit 6 Piece Office Drawer Edit is truly versatile and can corral everything from nuts and bolts to craft supplies (but not batteries unless they’re taped). The clear design will go with any desk or cabinet style, and the sturdy containers are made of BPA-free plastic. There’s even a removable T-shaped divider in the smallest container, making it easy to access tiny items such as thumbtacks.

It’s not surprising that the brilliant team at The Home Edit created an excellent product line. Who knows home organization better than Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin? But it’s especially lovely that they offer this versatile, well-made drawer organizer at such an affordable price at Walmart.
