Floral-themed bedroom with patterned wallpaper, colorful pillows, framed art, and bedside lamps.

I think I speak for the entire Apartment Therapy office when I say we’re absolutely thrilled about spring-summer weather. Between the sunshine, flowers in bloom, and a new slate of decor trends, the vibes are unmatched. Out of all the trends that have come across our desks this season, though, toile is the one we can’t stop talking about.

While the intricate textile pattern — technically known as Toile de Jouy — dates all the way back to 18th-century France, its 2026 revival feels fresh and charming. Toile pieces are usually monochromatic and detail rural scenes and florals, and bring a polished vintage aesthetic to any room. What’s more, there’s a version for everyone — whether you’re going for classic Bridgerton vibes or a whimsical cottagecore aesthetic. To help you navigate the trend, I asked the AT staff for the toile decor finds they’re loving (and threw in a couple of my own, too!). Keep reading for our top picks.

Toile Napkins, Set of 4
$50

“My New Year's resolution was to host a monthly dinner party with friends, and these sage green toile napkins are perfect for my April 'greenery' theme. The toile print feels fresh and springtime-ready, but it's subtle enough to work all year with a variety of different decor.” —Katie Maguire, Director of Shopping Content Strategy

$50 at Williams Sonoma
Printed Ruffle Edge Tablecloth
$49$35

“I love this ‘sport toile’ tablecloth from Urban — it's so springy, and the ruffles and toile combo make it super on-trend. It would be perfect for spring hosting, and the price point is really good!” —Lizzy Francis, Senior Lifestyle Editor

Signature Toile Floral Flannel Sheet Set, Queen
$229

“I’ve got my eyes on this sheet set from Garnet Hill. The washed blue floral toile design has soft elegance written all over it. And it has nothing but glowing reviews: People note that it's ‘extremely soft, warm, and comfortable,’ and one person shared that they had it for over a year, and it’s still fluffy and super cozy — so it's long-lasting too!” —Stephanie Nguyen, Lifestyle Director

$229 at Garnet Hill
Toile De Femmes Wallpaper, Per Yard
$136

I’d love nothing more than to have my entire bathroom covered in this Backdrop wallpaper. The hand-drawn design is a whimsical, modern take on traditional toile, and I love that it features mostly women doing all sorts of things — from horseback riding to jamming in the park. The pink-and-red color combo is gorgeous, too!

“Urban Outfitters has a ton of super-fun toile pieces. Currently loving this flush-mount conversion kit. It’s so much more charming than those dreaded ‘boob lights.'” —Emma Dangel, Style Editor

LoveShackFancy Damask Desk Skirt
$119

“Consumers often conflate damask prints and toile prints, as they can look very similar. They are different, but I love the look of both — and even though this is technically not toile, it still would look great in your home. This one screams Marie Antoinette to me, and I think it'd be cool to see this print on a skirt in any part of the home!” —Zee Krstic, Senior Home Editor

Sorrel Toile Sham, Set of 2
$110

“Toile can be overwhelming in some interiors if it takes up too much visual space, but accents are always a solid way to dip your toe into the look. These throw pillows are great way to add a pop of toile to a living room without overtaking an existing design scheme (again, the peekaboo effect!). Carson Kressely has a similar design for cheaper, but it's more modern-looking.” —Zee Krstic, Senior Home Editor
