Yes, spring officially begins in March. But where I live in New York, it doesn’t really feel that way. Winter sinks its claws into the month for as long as it can, bringing cold days that have me reaching for my warmest blankets. So while I wait it out for true spring to begin outside, I’m ushering in the season within my own home.

I asked Apartment Therapy editors, consulted Pinterest’s trend predictions for 2026, attended press previews, and did some good old-fashioned internet research to find more than a dozen spring decor items that will bring a breath of fresh air into your home — no matter what’s going on with the weather. Scroll on for the picks, from cherry red bedding and millennial pink serving platters to editor-approved lighting and gummy bear sculptures, starting at under $25.

Lilac Hand-Painted Candle
$49

“I just got one of these, and it’s just the cutest little candle,” gushed Danielle Blundell, executive home director. “The hand-painted design makes it look vintage. I can’t wait to burn it so I can use the vessel for bathroom (or bedside) storage.”

Lush Stripe Ruffled Vase
$276

“I’ve been waiting for the right moment to buy one of these insanely gorgeous pieces from Noon & Moon,” said Senior Home Editor Zee Krstic, who purchased this for his mom. “I ordered this new finish in a lovely green and white vertical stripe, as some of her new place settings are leaning into the circus-chic look. I think it's going to be stunning — the green reads very spring to me!”

Bordallo Pinheiro Cabbage Serve Bowl
$85

Move over, tomatoes: According to Pinterest, we are crushing on cabbage this season. If this feels less like a trend and more like a lifestyle for you, I’d suggest investing in Bordallo Pinheiro, a Portuguese-based ceramics house that’s been producing cabbageware since the 1880s. You can buy plates, platters, and more dishes at stores like Williams Sonoma, Sur La Table, and Amazon.

$85 at Williams Sonoma
Le Jardin Cabbage Cereal/Soup Bowls, Set of 4
$51$486% off

If you’re just looking to dip your toes into cabbagecore, you can find more affordable dishware on Amazon. There, I found matching plates for the soup bowls shown here, plates shaped like long cabbage leaves, and purple cabbage dishes to break up all that greenery.

$48 at Amazon
Ceramic Cabbage Salt and Pepper Shakers
$20

Last cabbage pick, I swear! I can’t get over these adorable hand-crafted salt and pepper shakers (or the fact that they’re only $20).

$20 at Michaels
Prue Leith Melamine Dinner Plates, Set of 4
$50

I attended MoMA Design Store’s spring preview on an absolutely frigid winter day and was warmed by the selection’s bright colors and overall whimsy, which couldn’t be more perfectly captured by these unique melamine plates. Designed by former Great British Bake-Off judge Prue Leith, the dinner plates are complemented by salad plates, bowls, and tumblers.

Albee Bar Cart
$349

Another Pinterest-cited trend that I’m totally on board with is “neo deco” — Art Deco is among my very favorite decor styles. The platform reported a 100% jump in search interest for “antique bar carts” related to this trend, and with its brass accents and curved lines, this West Elm bar cart fits the bill perfectly.

Oval Platter
$220

2016 nostalgia is hitting so hard right now that millennial pink is back in fashion. (Even Hilary Duff is on board!) East Fork just released this seasonal hue, Thistle, which it describes as a “dusty matte pink with cool undertones.”

Washed Classic Percale Core Sheet Set, Queen
$209$167

“I was at HomeGoods and saw they launched a bunch of Tommy Bahama yellow gingham bedding sets — and while we famously just said on site that butter yellow is on its way out, I do think this gingham-specific take on the hue is LOVELY for spring,” Krstic confessed. “Brooklinen just launched a set that looks very similar, and the pattern is JUST the right amount of yellow that doesn't give me the ick.”

Pierce & Ward Cotton Linen Stripe Duvet Cover, Full/Queen
$199

Krstic also spotted this West Elm bedding in the wild, which leans into “circus tent chic” — yet another Pinterest trend prediction for 2026. “Think: bold stripes, sculptural silhouettes, and just a wink of clownish charm,” the platform suggests. This duvet cover keeps things subtle so that you can have fun elsewhere.

$199 at West Elm
Furbish Studio Linen Blend Scallop Embroidered Trim Pillow Case
$20

“TJX is officially carrying Furbish Studio!” Blundell exclaimed. Best known for its needlepoint pillows, Furbish Studio’s linen-blend pillowcases are perfect for spring thanks to their breathable fabric and fun colors. And at T.J. Maxx, they’re more than 75% off.

$20 at TJ Maxx
Belgian Flax Linen Fringe Ruffle Duvet Cover, Full/Queen
$299$279

You can also refresh your bed in cherry red, a decor color our editors have been spotting more and more in the past few months. Bundle the 100% linen duvet cover in the Red Berry shade with matching shams.

$279 at Pottery Barn
Everywhere Velvet Pillow Cover
$50$24

Not ready for a fully red bed? Test out cherry red in your home with this velvet decorative pillow cover while it’s on sale for under $25. The pillow cover can be tossed in the wash and will still retain its bright color, according to the brand.

Ophelia & Co. Happy Candy Bear Figurine Sculpture
$34

One final Pinterest 2026 trend I’m thinking about bringing into my home is the gummy bear aesthetic. “Ridiculous in the best possible way,” Wayfair customer Amycaicos wrote in a review of this very literal take of the trend. “It looks like a giant gummy bear escaped and got a design degree. The pink translucent finish catches the light nicely,” she said, adding, “Bigger visual impact than expected for the size.”

$34 at Wayfair
Nekhung Battery Operated Wall Sconces, Set of 2
$60

“I needed something on my walls around my TV, so I bought these cutie little LED sconces,” Style Editor Emma Dangel said. The battery-operated sconces (read: no electrician or messy cords) can last up to 60 hours on a single charge and come with a remote control to change colors, dim the lights, and set a timer.

$60 at Amazon
Flower Floor Lamp
$329

For lighting that absolutely screams “spring,” look to West Elm’s flower floor lamp, which is available in four colors. Just because it’s sold in the kids’ section doesn’t mean it’s not suited to adults!

$329 at West Elm
Lilian August Accent Chair
$350$199

Dangel came across a bunch of great accent chairs at Marshalls while researching on the site the other day. Other highlights include this bouclé-knit orange fabric chair with a curved back and wooden accents, and this compact chair with a nesting ottoman.

$199 at Marshalls
Berry Icon Handpainted Stoneware Berry Basket
$26

Leave it to Anthropologie to carry the most literal takes on spring decor trends (trust me — that’s a compliment). “Such a fun pop of color and gets me excited for spring and summer,” customer rachelrae1096 wrote in a review. “You’re bound to get compliments with this on your counter!”
