While IKEA’s prices on modern furniture and decor are already hard to beat, the Swedish brand just launched a rare sale in honor of its 80th anniversary, and it’s perfect for college and back-to-school shopping.

Running now through Sept. 5, IKEA desks, bedding, and bath accessories will be 20 percent off. On top of that, teachers and college students get an additional 15 percent off discount in stores (up to $3,000). The sale also coincides with the release of a timely new collection, the KNORRALG, designed with festive decor for celebrating Labor Day. Think red-white-and-blue doormats, cushion covers, and star-shaped string lights.

You can shop IKEA’s 80th anniversary sale and the new KNORRALG line both online and at your local store, whether you’re in the process of decorating an off-campus apartment or just want to update your bedroom or bathroom. If there’s a specific desk or duvet cover you’ve been eyeing, too, there’s no better time to add to your cart. I pulled out a few notable sale finds below, and note, the discount will be applied at checkout.

One of IKEA’s most compact desks, the all-white MICKE maximizes small-space layouts with its minimalist silhouette, spacious single drawer, and cord cutout in the back corner. It works well as a makeup station/vanity, too, with a mirror hanging above.

This high-pile floral mat instantly perks up any bathroom, especially if you have a plain white shower curtain or towels and want to play around with more color. Bonus: It’s also machine-washable, so you can keep it looking its best for a while.

Incorporate the checkerboard trend into your space with the VITKLÖVER reversible duvet cover — one side features a white base with a green grid pattern, while the other has the opposite. It’s like two different bedding styles in one.

Level up your WFH area with this modern TROTTEN standing desk. Note that it’s not motorized (meaning you’ll have to adjust the height manually with a hidden built-in crank), but the neutral design and versatile functionality rival similar styles that cost almost twice as much. There’s plenty of workspace, too, with the tabletop measuring 47.25 inches long by 27.5 inches wide.

An IKEA bestseller, the ROCKÅN bathrobe screams hotel luxury…for less than $30. It even looks high-end just hanging in your bathroom. The 100 percent cotton style comes in either gray or white, plus two different sizes — S/M or L/XL — with adjustable side ties and pockets.
