The New IKEA Storage Find That Makes Any Bathroom Look Like It Belongs in a Magazine

Good bathroom storage is a must — especially if you live in a small apartment like I do. When your priority is practicality, it sometimes feels like you have to compromise on aesthetics, which is exactly why I get so excited when I find home decor that delivers on storage and style while still being affordable. 

IKEA is definitely a reliable place to find such gems, and there’s a new towel rack in town that will give your bathroom an easy glow-up.

The STEGESUND towel stand is being sold for $39.99 and is a new addition to IKEA. Made from light bamboo wood, it’s a tall, freestanding wooden rack with a sleek, simple appearance that looks like something you’d see in a spa or wellness boutique or photographed for a magazine.

The towel stand measures 35.75 inches tall, 19.75 inches wide, and 12.5 inches deep. The horizontal rods are at two different heights and are meant for hanging towels over each rod. The rods are placed in a way where each rack has two “knobs” at the top formed by the vertical pieces of wood. So, not only do you have two towel racks and a shelf at the bottom, but you also have four places to hang items like loofahs or even a robe or two.
