Built in 1936, the 4,761-square-foot home, which is available fully furnished, was recently remodeled. On the main floor, guests are welcomed by a formal entry foyer with a spiral staircase. You’ll notice the chevron and white oak floors, a new feature since the renovation. In the main living space, which has an open concept, you’ll find a large bay window overlooking mature trees on the property. There’s also a wet bar.
Across the hall, a green wood-paneled family room has walls of built-in bookshelves, and is the perfect spot to sit back and enjoy a movie. A gourmet kitchen, which has top of the line appliances like wine refrigerators and double ovens, features a massive large eat-in island with high-end features like black Marquina granite and white Carrara marble. There’s also an adjacent breakfast nook, where floor-to-ceiling French doors open out to the dining terrace. Don’t miss the wall of steelcase doors, which stream in natural light and open out to the sunny patio area to provide a true integration of indoor/outdoor living space.
Upstairs, you’ll find three en suite bedrooms. That includes the bright primary suite, which has oversized windows and a cathedral ceiling, as well as a mini-bar, walk-in closet, and a luxurious primary bath that feels more like a day at the spa than a bathroom. It features a marble bath with an oval soaking tub. There’s also a separate lounge that opens out to a balcony, allowing you to soak up the Beverly Hills sunshine.
Outside, a rectangular pool and patio sit next to a fire pit on a flat, grassy lawn. Perfect for entertaining, as we’re sure Leo has done plenty of! There’s also a guest house that has its own patio, as well as a detached one-car garage and a long driveway. The whole property is tucked behind gates, and has hedges for plenty of privacy. (We all know Leonardo is not one for the prying eyes of the paparazzi.)
As you’d expect from one of Hollywood’s biggest stars, DiCaprio’s real estate portfolio has always been strong. In 2019, he sold his home in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles for $3.4 million. The previous year, he dropped $4.5 million on Moby’s house in Los Feliz. He’s also had some ritzy rentals throughout the years. Back in 2019, he rented out a stunning three bedroom apartment in the newly-constructed 172 Madison in the NoMad neighborhood of Manhattan. Ah, to be a millionaire… just don’t expect him to pop by to fix anything!
