If you’ve ever wanted to walk through a pair of mint doors and yell, “Lucy, I’m home,” you don’t have to build a time machine to do it. This mid-century modern rental owned by Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz offers a dream vintage-chic vacation locale for “I Love Lucy” fans.

Though the home was remodeled in 2012, the interiors will please anyone who loves a mod aesthetic. The owner of the 2,400-square-foot, three-bedroom, three-bathroom home is not Fred and Ethel Mertz, but an interior designer who has since outfitted the home in a posh yet playful manner. Nautical patterns pack a punch to the otherwise stark white interior. There’s also a modern kitchen, where you can practice making chocolates and then eat them when you realize you’re not going fast enough.

Each bedroom houses its own king-sized bed and television, as well as an ensuite bathroom outfitted with a sunken Roman tub.

And that’s just inside the home. But you probably won’t be spending a ton of time there since the outside is a vacationer’s dream: The backyard features a truly gigantic novelty-shaped pool with its own swim-up bar. For those who would rather stay dry, there’s an outdoor television and fireplace under a covered, curtained outdoor space. Relax poolside and sip Vitameatavegamin.

The home is located in Indian Wells, in California’s Coachella Valley. Besides being a nearby resting place for the Valley’s eponymous festival, the town also hosts a Masters tennis tournament (the sixth-largest in the world.)

The whole home can be rented for $500 a night, but you must rent at least one week at a time. Sounds like a great vacation for those looking to really soak up some sun and comedy history.

If you really love Lucy, you can also visit the couple’s vacation house in nearby Palm Springs, which is also available to rent for anywhere between $690 and $1,675 a night.
