Chip and Jo Are Throwing a Party to Celebrate the Silos — and You Can Go for Free
Chip and Joanna Gaines have a lot to celebrate this year, especially with the recent launch of Magnolia Network in July. It only makes sense that the Texas-based couple goes big when it comes to Magnolia events, including their annual “Silobration” that you can attend.
Every year, Chip and Jo host a weekend-long party to celebrate the anniversary of the Silos, and this year is no different. Happening Friday, Oct. 28 through Sunday, Oct. 30, the event features makers, artisans, and small-business owners from around the country, plus cuisine served up by local food vendors. The best part? You can attend for free.
The event takes place at the Silos, the downtown Waco compound owned by the Gaines. It is also home to several of their boutiques, which will be open during the event. In addition to shopping, there are free daytime concerts as well as two evening folk concerts that you can purchase tickets for: Cody Fry and Ben Rector will be performing that Friday, and JOHNNYSWIM with Drew Holcomb and The Neighbors will be on stage that Saturday.
Magnolia Network launched July 15 after delays due to the pandemic, and is home to the couple’s renovation show “Fixer Upper: Welcome Home,” among others.
Tickets for the evening concerts, which cost $40, and go on sale Aug. 5.
