Meghan Markle’s Toronto Rental Is For Sale
This house is fit for royalty; now that the future duchess is officially across the pond, Meghan Markle’s Toronto rental is on the market for $1.395 million.
The two story three bedroom, two bathroom single family home has an open floor plan that’s perfect for entertaining, which is great, because everyone’s going to want to come to your Royal Wedding Watch Party come May 2018 (there’s even a full finished basement where you can have a second TV streaming Suits and Fringe). There’s also a back patio and deck, as well as a detached two car garage. Overall, the place looks pretty turn-key, with a sleek kitchen and luxe bathrooms (plus, we’re never mad at a dark accent wall). Though, to be honest, not as chic as her TV apartment.
If you’re interested in the place, we have to warn you—Toronto real estate is quite nuts as of late, with properties selling for upwards of double the asking price. Would you drop nearly $2.8 million on the former home of a future duchess? Up to you.
As for Meghan, she’s moved on to greener pastures—or at least, gardens. Nottingham Cottage is on the grounds of Kensington Palace, and it’s where Prince Harry’s lived for the past few years. The couple gave their first joint interview there, where he noted how they survived the long distance relationship: “We were able to really have so much time just to connect and we never went longer than two weeks without seeing each other, even though we were obviously doing a long distance relationship… We made it work.”
The property is listed for $1.395 million.
