One of my favorite pastimes is tracking down affordable dupes for high-end home decor. I love scrolling through pricey brands’ websites for inspiration and then setting out to find similar styles for a fraction of the price. It’s like a little treasure hunt, and I genuinely enjoy the process. So, when I decided to upgrade my nightstands, I knew I had to find something that matched the style of my favorite upscale brands — without the hefty price tag.

Bed Bath & Beyond has become a go-to for me, especially its Simple Living line, which is packed with mid-century modern-inspired gems. While browsing, I came across its Middlebrook Designs collection, and I was instantly hooked. It’s full of eye-catching pieces that blend style and practicality, including the exact nightstand I was searching for. The Middlebrook Designs Farmhouse Nightstand has a sleek cubby, two roomy drawers, and a price tag that’s less than half of its dupes’ price. I’m obsessed!

What Is the Middlebrook Designs Farmhouse Nightstand?

Whether you’re a fan of rustic farmhouse design or not, the Middlebrook Designs Farmhouse Nightstand can easily blend with a variety of decor styles. It features a clean, timeless look with practical storage options, including two drawers and a large cubby for essentials you grab regularly, like books, magazines, phone chargers, and more. Its design mimics pricier brands but costs significantly less due to materials like MDF wood instead of real wood. Personally, I think the MDF is a great trade-off for the price, but it’s all about what you prefer.

Visually, this nightstand looks more expensive than it is. The two lower drawers feature steel hardware and metal glides, making them easy to open and close. The black pulls add a nice touch and really complete that farmhouse feel. The stand is also quite spacious, measuring 2.5 feet wide and 1.31 feet deep, so be sure to measure your bedroom before bringing it home!

Why I Love the Middlebrook Designs Farmhouse Nightstand

While I love the look of the Middlebrook Designs Farmhouse Nightstand, as we often learn in life, looks aren’t everything. So, what makes this nightstand worth buying? Its two spacious drawers, cubby, and lightweight design. Personally, I use the cubby to store books and charge my phone (thanks to its open-back design). It’s incredibly handy for items I grab regularly and also doubles as a second display area. As for the drawers, they’re super spacious. In fact, they’re so roomy, you could store a blanket inside if you wanted to!

It’s important to note that this nightstand wasn’t exactly easy to assemble. It took me hours to do it on my own, and even then, I couldn’t figure it out. However, once I called in some reinforcements, I got it together — and the effort was worth it. I get so many compliments on it! And because it’s so lightweight, I can easily lift it the next time I pick up and move.

Buy: Middlebrook Designs Farmhouse Nightstand, $190.34 (normally $211.49)
