This Beloved Trader Joe’s Summer Candle Is Officially Back in Stores

The scent of summer is finally back at Trader Joe’s. Peony Blossom, one of the grocery chain’s most adored scented candles, is back in stock for just $3.99. And if you have yet to try this sweet floral fragrance, don’t miss your chance for another year — they’re not going to stay on the shelves for long.

“The Peony Blossom candle is back just in time for Mother’s Day!” Shannon from the @traderjoesobsessed Instagram account wrote in an April 20 Instagram caption. 

“One of my favorite scents,” one person commented, with another adding that they’re grabbing a few this year.

Just like all of Trader Joe’s scented candles, Peony Blossom is made with a natural soy wax blend and a lead-free cotton wick. The scent is that of a “sweet, blushing peony,” according to the Trader Joe’s display, and it’s strong enough to fill an entire room. 

According to Alex from the @traderjoesnew Instagram account, the Peony Blossom scent is also being sold this year in hand-soap form, so there is even more love to go around. But because it’s seasonal, the candle and the soap will only be available in stores for a limited time.

The Peony Blossom is almost completely opposite on the sweetness scale compared to the savory Tomato Leaf candle that dropped earlier in the season and nearly caused a war between Trader Joe’s shoppers. So if you’re much more drawn to floral scents rather than earthy ones, this candle is for you.
