The study found that “The Simpsons” is the most popular family sitcom nationwide, taking the gold medal in 15 states. It’s the longest-running American sitcom, with Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie gracing television screens for over 30 years. The lovable yellow family has bagged 178 awards over the course of its run, including a seriously impressive 34 Primetime Emmy Awards.

Taking the bronze medal is “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”, which ran from 1990 to 1996 and starred Will Smith. Fans of the show, you’re in luck—a reboot is expected to air sometime in 2022.
In fourth place: “The Goldbergs”, proving most popular in Iowa, Nebraska, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, and Wyoming.
Ew, David! In fifth place is “Schitt’s Creek”, with Massachusetts, Minnesota, Montana, and New Hampshire being huge fans of the Rose family.
