These Whimsical Wind Spinners Are So Cute (and So ’90s-Coded!)

I love whimsical gardens. When I was a kid, my next door neighbors had dozens of gnomes all over their backyard, and I used to press my face through the fence to look at all of them because they were so fun. So I’m always excited when I come across fun, kitschy garden finds that could work in any space — from a patio with planters to a large backyard. QVC is a great retailer for these kinds of finds, and I just found the cutest, most whimsical wind spinners that I’m totally obsessed with that remind me of being a kid in the best way possible. 

QVC is selling the Temp-Tations Outdoors Set of Two Mini Wind Spinners for $58. The wind spinners, which measure approximately 9.73 inches by 6.75 inches by 28.75 inches and vary in weight between 1.67 pounds and 3.3 pounds depending on which design you spring for, are weather-, rain-, corrosion-, and fade-resistant, making them ideal for outdoor use. QVC says that each pair of the mini wind spinners are “unique” and “a true work of art,” so “color variations and brushstrokes may vary, making your set truly one of a kind.” 

While I’m partial to the sunflower-shaped wind spinner set, the wind spinner set also comes in a butterfly pattern, a hummingbird pattern, and a multi-critter pattern with ladybugs, butterflies, flowers, dragonflies, and bees. 

These wind spinners are bright and colorful, and installing them in your yard or in your planters is as easy as driving them into the ground. Plus, they give me a ’90s kitschy feel that reminds me of the gardens I’d walk through in my childhood.
