Name: Santiago (newborn)
Location: Miami, Florida

Making room for baby was a bit of a challenge in our 1,000 sq. ft apartment. We not only wanted to welcome our new baby with a cozy nursery, but we also had to incorporate a fully functional working home office for my husband, Carlos Pacheco, CEO of CapturePod.

We wanted to create a space with a clean modern vibe with a little edge that Santiago could grow into. It was very important to us that the pieces we selected would not only work aesthetically in the space, but would also change to accommodate Santiago’s future needs. For example, the Stokke Crib transforms from a crib to a toddler bed and the glider fully reclines with a foot rest ideal for nursing.

Carlos and I love to travel, and we wanted to instill that love of exploration in our son. To the right of his crib is a hand crafted wooden Brazilian Holy Spirit dove we purchased on our honeymoon, while across from his crib is a large world map.
