I Found an Amazon Dupe of Serena & Lily’s Gorgeous Accent Chair — and It’s $2,000 Cheaper

Our staffers here at AT are big admirers of Serena & Lily, and I stress the word admirers because most of the retailer’s stylish furnishings cost a pretty penny. Sure, you can find some accessories and decor pieces for around $50, but overall, this is not the store to frequent if you’re shopping on a budget. That being said, if you know where to look, you can find pieces that fit the same aesthetic for way less. Case in point: the OSP Home Furnishings Kaylee spindle accent chair from Amazon, which looks almost identical to Serena & Lily’s popular Beckett Chair. The only major difference? The Amazon version retails for $330. Although this is by no means a small price to pay for an accent chair, it’s significantly less than the $2,248 amount at which the Beckett chair is currently marked down. But how does the Kaylee chair hold up amid day-to-day use? Luckily, AT Director of Strategic Partnerships Laina bought it for her living room a few months back and has all the intel.

Simultaneously elegant and comfy, the Kaylee chair will instantly elevate the look of your sitting area without taking up a ton of space. In fact, we could just as easily see this piece in a cozy reading nook or bedroom corner as we could by the sofa. A solid wood frame makes for a sturdy silhouette, while spring-and-foam cushions allow you to lounge for hours on end without sinking in. Of course, the star feature of this chair is the spindle detailing on the frame, which sets it apart from the ordinary armchair without making it look too busy. The all-white design further allows the chair to blend in with a variety of interior decor styles, whether we’re talking coastal, modern, or farmhouse. Laina got hers on sale during Prime Day and couldn’t be happier with her find. “I couldn’t speak more highly of this chair!” she said. “It was SO easy to put together and is so substantial and looks amazing.”

Unfortunately, the Amazon chair only comes in all-white, so you’d have to look to the original Beckett Chair for more options. Specifically, that one is available in just under 200 fabric options, and each one is custom-made. If you ask us, though, the $330 version is a solid alternative if you’re okay with the monochromatic color scheme.

The Serena & Lily chair is also made of durable hardwood, which is perhaps a bit nicer than the dupe’s materials. In contrast, the Kaylee chair’s frame is made of rubberwood, which you’ll find to be the case with a lot of budget-friendly furnishings. But the majority of Amazon shoppers still report being satisfied with their chairs, and Laina certainly doesn’t regret purchasing hers on sale.
