Mornings Are Gonna Be a Thousand Times Better with the New SMEG x Lavazza Coffee Maker
There are few things we love more than a well-designed kitchen. Kitchens are often referred to as the heart of the home, and can often make or break a deal for homebuyers and renters alike. In addition to countertops, cabinets, and finishes, kitchen appliances play a big role in completing the look, and perhaps no other brand does that better than Instagram-favorite, Smeg.
The Italian appliance manufacturer has owned the collaboration game in recent years with high-profile partnerships with Disney, “Peanuts” (for a Snoopy refrigerator), and even Dolce & Gabbana. Now it can add another big name to the list: Lavazza.
Smeg and the beloved Italian espresso company have teamed up to create Lavazza A Modo Mio Smeg, a single-serve espresso maker fueled by Lavazzo capsules. With a stout, rounded shape and smooth, pearly finish, the Lavazza A Modo Mio Smeg delivers all the convenience of pod coffee makers, but with the aesthetic appeal that others are so desperately missing. And not to worry about finding one to fit your kitchen decor. This Smeg appliance comes in three classic colors: cream, white, and red.
The machine runs on Lavazza’s a modo mio capsules, which Lavazza says are eco-friendly and compostable. Like other pod espresso makers, you have the option of short or long espresso, which is ready within seconds thanks to its super fast water heating system. There’s also room to store up to six pods right in the machine, so you don’t have to worry about any additional clutter on your already crowded countertop.
Aside from buzzworthy collaborations, Smeg is known for its retro-inspired style of quality appliances that range from tea kettles to refrigerators, available in a broad range of eye-popping pastels. The Lavazza A Modo Mio Smeg fits rights in with that signature aesthetic, and you can purchase one for £199.95 (about $269.99) on the Smeg UK website.
