The Triple-Duty Shoe Rack That Keeps My Entryway Clutter-Free (So Much Extra Storage!)

In the past, my entryway has either been severely neglected or a catchall for packages and shoes. While mail can be sorted and removed quickly, the same can’t be said for my shoes, which don’t all fit in my closet. Plus, it’s easier to keep the pairs I wear most often near the door so I can grab them on my way out. As a result, I’ve had to learn to rely on shoe racks to keep my entryway clutter at bay.

Fortunately, I’ve tested multiple shoe racks during my time at Apartment Therapy, and the brand I keep coming back to is Songmics. Further, the railing isn’t only for aesthetics: If I ever need to move the bench — which has happened occasionally — I can grab the rails and carry it without a second thought. Overall, I love the bench’s stylish and smart design that really leans into convenience. It’s by far my favorite shoe rack to date!
