Having just recently lived through a time where toilet paper was more valuable than gold, it’s safe to say the world will never take TP for granted again. And now knowing how much toilet paper is really valued, it’s time to start thinking more about what kind of toilet paper you should buy and how it may be impacting your carbon footprint.

Cloud Paper, a tree-free paper products company, is hoping to convince consumers to make the switch to sustainable toilet paper by literally giving away their bamboo-based products this holiday season.

From now until Dec. 31, Cloud Paper is giving away a free box of six rolls of Tree-Free Toilet Paper or three rolls of Tree-Free Toilet Paper and one roll of Bamboo Paper Towels to people thinking about dropping their Big Paper brand. All you have to do is pay $7 for shipping.

Cloud Paper’s Tree-Free Toilet Paper is a septic-friendly, bamboo-based alternative to standard grocery store brands. It comes in recyclable, plastic-free packaging, has 350 sheets per roll, and is totally free from BPAs and chlorine.

Cloud Paper works with family-owned bamboo farms in Asia and has partnered with sustainability-focused (FSC-certified) manufacturers in China to create their products. Also, Cloud Paper offsets any carbon emissions generated during the paper’s transportation.

“Traditional CPG companies (big paper and traditional companies that you see in your grocery store) bulldoze and destroy old-growth forests like the Boreal, Amazon, etc. to manufacture their TP and PT,” a Cloud Paper press release states. “20 percent of deforestation globally is due to tree-based toilet paper and paper towels, this equals 40,000 trees cut down per day.”

To claim your free TP, head over to Cloud Paper’s Gift to the Environment portal to purchase your first box. After you claim your free trial, you’ll be automatically enrolled in a 3-month subscription, which can be cancelled or adjusted at any time.
