I Love These $3 Target Cups So Much, I Bought Them in Every Color
If you’re shopping at Target and not stopping in their front-of-store bargain section, you’re missing out. The area, called Bullseye’s Playground, has a rotating selection of seasonal offerings at a steal — usually just $1 to $5. The section includes all the expected stuff, like kids’ toys, tote bags, and the like, but it also features some seriously on-trend home decor (think: vintage-looking goblets and fluted mugs). One of the more recent offerings I spotted on social media: glass tumblers with a quirky bubble shape. I immediately zipped over to my nearest Target.
These “bubble” glasses are bargain-priced at just $3 each and come in four different colors — clear, green, pink, and blue — and are a generous size at nearly 18 ounces. (Nearby you can even find glass drinking straws in both matching and complementary colors.)
The bubble shape of these glasses offers a unique spin on the bobbin trend that’s taking over this year, making them a perfect way to bring a little bit of the style into your space without spending much money. While other shoppers are picking them up to use for drinks, I actually grabbed one (and then another, and then another, and then another) to use as a vase.
The size is perfect for displaying a few cut flowers from Trader Joe’s — or, in the summer, a few snipped straight from my garden. Some small vases look kind of puny on their own, but the size of these is just right. They’d also look adorable arranged in a candy-colored row all the way down a long dining or coffee table.
If you want in on this buy, move now: Target’s dollar section goes fast, and is available in-store only. Want to order the look instead? Try this similar vase from Amazon, which comes in a range of colors (including a gorgeous orange).
If you’d like to use your bubble glass as a drinking vessel, this Amazon version has a similar look and a handful of other color options, too. It will cost you a few more dollars per cup, but unlike the Target version, this one is dishwasher-safe.
