Taylor Swift is rapidly earning her Reputation as one of the most prolific real estate investors of her millennial generation, with potentially yet another massive quick-flip profit coming her way from the upcoming sale of her Beverly Hills home.

According to Trulia, Swift purchased the home for $1.775 million back in 2012 and just listed it for $2.95 million. And this listing comes right after the sale of Taylor’s four-bed, four-bath home just down the road (which she sold to luxury menswear heir Nicolas Bijan Pakzad for $4 million).

The updated minimalist-modern home still retains hints of the light, warm woods and atomic-era midcentury aesthetic of its original 1959 build, most notably in the gourmet galley kitchen and eat-in dining booth nook as well as in the built-ins in the living spaces, but is otherwise a light, bright, whitewashed single-story ranch with good flow for entertaining and mature landscaping for privacy — including to seclude the brilliantly B-horror-film-esque, amoeba-shaped pool surrounded by stone and mountain views.

The four bedroom, five bathroom home features 2,950 total square feet of living space, featuring skylights, high ceilings, a cozy fireplace, an in-law apartment with a private entrance, and a climate-controlled 1,000-bottle wine cellar.

Aesthetically, this writer at least prefers the gothic, historic luxury of Swift’s former NYC rental townhome on Cornelia Street in the Village, or her sleek and modern yet warm and charming twin townhomes on Franklin Street in “Taybeca.” But if you’re looking for understated upscale in the heart of Los Angeles, this mid-century modern ranch is a sure thing—and a blank slate.

According to Variety and Forbes, Swift still owns additional homes in Beverly Hills (worth $25 million), in Manhattan (worth $50 million), in Westerly, Rhode Island (worth $17.75 million), and in Nashville (two residences worth $4.5 million, combined). The 28-year-old country music turned pop star reportedly now has a net worth of over $280 million.

But, the savvy young celebrity also has a major penchant for giving back to her fans — from surprising them in the hospital after burn treatments, to treating 2,200 foster kids and their families to free pizzas at her show, to even going so far as buying a house for a pregnant and homeless English fan and her husband back in 2017 — so it seems Swift is at least one pop star with not just her investment portfolio but her philanthropic priorities (and paying it forward in general) in check.
