10 Tiny Tables Perfect for the Smallest of Entryways

Even if your entryway is super-tiny — or you don't really have an entryway at all, and have to make do with a little spot by the door — it's nice to have a place to drop your keys, set down the mail, put things that you're planning on taking with you the next time you go out. That's where these little tables come in. All of them provide just such a landing spot, which will welcome you home and help keep clutter under control — all without taking up very much space at all.

In keeping with the idea that these are for small entryways, I tried to limit the selection to tables that are less than a foot deep. In a few cases, I did make an exception for units that seem especially suited to small spaces. Depths and widths for all the tables are indicated.

IKEA's series of Lixhult cabinets comes in all kinds of colors and sizes, and they can be placed together in different combinations to suit your storage needs. This small gray metal cabinet provides concealed storage space, always nice to have in a smaller home, and is only 24" wide by 14" deep. This red cabinet is a bit taller and thinner, perfect for a very small entryway, or in a group of two or three where there's a little more space.

This little console (only 9.5" deep by 30" wide) is priced right, and the shelves are great for storage.

Ok, I cheated a little on the dimensions of this one, because it is 13" deep, but it's only 29" wide, and it has that second shelf that's great for storage (and an open bottom where you can place shoes or bags).

If all you've got is a corner, this little table, only 13.25" in diameter, could be just perfect.

Our Previous Lists:

This slim half-round table — only 10" deep and 30" wide — is one of my favorites. Its particularly petite profile make it appropriate for even the smallest of spaces — and it's available in 14 different colors, to add a little pizazz to pretty much any foyer. (This table also comes in some other sizes, including a 7" by 36" rectangle, an 8" by 40" rectangle, and a 12" by 48" rectangle.)

The enamel top and brass finish give this slim console — only 9.5" deep and 48" wide — a luxe look.

At 36" wide and only 10" deep, this console is indeed skinny. You could place bags below the console, or even boots, provided your feet are a bit on the small side.

Other Good Resources:

This design has quite a bit of storage potential, and it's only 9.5" deep (and 42" wide).

An acrylic console, like this one, will seem to almost disappear into the wall — and you can stack things below it, or place another shelf or console below. It's 12" deep and 38" wide.

The 46" width might be a bit on the large side for some smaller foyers, but the 10" depth is accommodating, and the shelf underneath is great for storage. (This could also be nice behind a couch, as well.)
