TV shows have become a way to stay connected to each other now more than ever before. (Can you believe this happened? Did you see that coming? Have you FINALLY seen “Tiger King” yet?!). Since you’re probably watching the same TV shows as your friends already, you might as well get paid for it—and that’s where this “The Office” remote party contest comes into play.

Career site Overheard On Conference Calls is looking to pay someone to host the ultimate “The Office” remote watch party with…anyone you want to! All you have to do is pick your favorite episodes, host a remote viewing party with at least two other friends, and laugh your butts off. The reward for this “work” is an easy $1,000.

The job listing says the point of it is “to help foster a sense of community during these unprecedented times.” And with a show like “The Office” that’s filled with awkward moments that you can’t help but laugh at, this opportunity might be exactly what you (and we all) need right about now.

Interested candidates must submit an application that explains why you’re the perfect person for the job. This includes mentioning your favorite episode and quote from the show as well as why you’re meant for the opportunity. Additionally, you must be 18 years or older to apply, and it goes without saying that you should be a fan of the show.

The lucky winner will get $1,000 in compensation, a Netflix gift card, and the best excuse to hang out with your friends and binge-watch “The Office” (not that you really need an excuse). To get the reward, the person must select the episodes, fill out worksheets while you watch, host the party, and share the entire experience of social media.

Applications are being accepted until April 27, 2020 at 8 p.m. ET. So pitch yourself and set a reminder to look out for that congratulatory call—fingers crossed!
