I love Michael Cera. I have, in the past, said that I would marry Michael Cera, except for then my name would be Sarah Cera, and also he is already married.

l love “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World,” I love “Juno,” I love “Arrested Development,” I loved “Lobby Hero,” I loved when Pigeons and Planes photoshopped Michael Cera onto rap album covers, and I love to use a good Michael Cera GIF in a text.

This is why I’m absolutely fascinated by TikTok’s most recent bathroom renovation saga: Lauren Sulli’s journey to cover her bathroom with as many Michael Ceras as possible.

“My bathroom has been soul-less and blank since I moved in almost a year ago because I have not been able to decide on the perfect theme for it,” @laurensulli says in the first installment of the series. “So I’ve decided right now the theme is Michael Cera … I’m going to be creating a portrait of him every day until I have no more wall space left. “

(After all, to quote real estate editor Madeline Bilis, the only good kind of bathroom is a themed bathroom.)

She begins with a single, incredibly impressive hand-drawn Michael Cera, and the project explodes with hand-drawn Michael Cera moments from there.

Stay tuned for Lauren’s version of that one photo of Michael Cera, Aubrey Plaza, and some girls at Chuck E. Cheese — and possibly some prints of Lauren’s Michael Cera artwork to display in your own home — and join me in watching the saga unfold here.
