For the first time ever, I’m decorating my home for Christmas before Thanksgiving. That’s right! My Christmas tree is already out (and has been since early November!), but I’m still slowly putting up lights and decorations and shopping for last-minute additions to deck my home with for the season.

I know I can find some really amazing items at T.J. Maxx, and on a recent trip I spotted the best deal on popular home brand Lenox’s holiday collection. While walking down the aisles I discovered the Lenox holiday salad plates and small bowls deeply discounted from the original price.

The Lenox Holiday Salad Plate retails for $56, and the Lenox Holiday Small Bowl retails for $26, but at T.J. Maxx, they were only $12.99 and $9.99, respectively. I was shocked! That’s such a good deal. I knew I had to put these in my cart fast.

You might know Lenox from its iconic 1989 spice village that’s back in stock, but its 1974 holiday collection is a best-seller, too! It highlights ivory porcelain pieces with 24-karat gold accents and a holly and berry motif in red and green. The best part about these gorgeous items? They are totally dishwasher safe, although I’ll probably still hand-wash them because of how precious they are to me.

What I personally love most about this collection is how truly timeless it is, even though it was created in the 1970s. I can see these items being a part of my family for years to come. 

My biggest regret though? I only bought a set of two for my husband and me, thinking they would be good to use all season long for just us two, but now, I’m rushing back to the store to get more! If I can’t find the full-size dinner plates and other dinnerware items, then I plan to use the salad plate and small bowls as dessert plates and bowls for when I host family and friends for the holidays.
