Somehow, February is here, and you’ve probably already seen all kinds of Valentine’s Day themed goodies lining the shelves of your local stores lately. If you’re keeping your romantic plans at home yet again this year due to the ongoing pandemic (or perhaps because it’s simply too cold to venture out on a Monday night, zero judgements here) Trader Joe’s is upping the ante on your V-Day dinner plans by way of adorable heart-shaped pasta.
Each year, the specialty retailer debuts a collection of sweet treats in stores that make the perfect gift for your valentine, and this year is no exception. If the way to your valentine’s heart is through their stomach, then they’re sure to love the new Trader Joe’s artisan heart-shaped pasta, which was spotted on store shelves by the eagle-eyed shoppers behind the Trader Joe’s and Target Finds Instagram account.
Aside from its festive packaging, each bag contains about eight cups of heart-shaped semolina pasta in both regular noodle coloring as well as a pinkish red hue by way of tomato powder and beet powder. Perfect for a Valentine’s Day dinner whether you’re celebrating with friends, your partner, your family, and little kids alike, this pasta puts a fun twist on a hearty, home-cooked meal on the big day.
The pros at Trader Joe’s List plan to pair theirs with vodka sauce, but really, the possibilities are endless… you can make anything your heart (ahem) desires. Of course, there’s a definite possibility of these selling out quickly at your local store, but fear not, because Trader Joe’s List has shared some of the other TJs-specific Valentine’s Day items you might spot in your local store, including the fan-favorite fruity gummy Xs & Os, Belgian chocolate hearts (aka bonbons with a praline filling), jelly bean hearts, and TJ’s mini heart cookies, which include dark chocolate covered shortbread cookies covered in festive sprinkles.
