Trader Joe’s Has 3 Kinds of Pink Poinsettias Right Now

No other flowering plant says “Christmas” quite like the red poinsettia. But every tradition needs a facelift once in a while. That’s why you might want to head over to your local Trader Joe’s because grocery store is currently selling three shades of pink poinsettias that will go oh-so-well with your vintage aluminum tree and kitschy Christmas decorations.

Depending on our local TJs’ stock, there’s a bubblegum pink poinsettia, a light blush, and there’s also a variegated version that has both light and dark pinks on the leaves.

“Could not resist taking home this mini pink poinsettia from @traderjoes today!” Instagram user @trader.joesplants wrote in the caption of a Dec. 12 post. “Obsessed with the pretty colors.”

According to @trader.joesplants, these mini plants are only $7.99, and each comes with a modern-looking ceramic planter.

Trader Joe’s has had pink poinsettias in stock since right after Thanksgiving. Another Instagram user, @traderjoesplants, found a bunch at their local store in late November.

“Usually I put up some white #poinsettias to match our sunny decor… but the #PinkPoinsettias @traderjoes this year are stunning!” they wrote in the caption. “So something to think about for sure!!”

Trader Joe’s is also offering the classic red and white varieties, too. In fact, some of their small red poinsettias (which are going for just under $3) come with glitter sprinkled on them for a little extra touch of holiday magic. 

So if you’re looking to do something a bit different this Christmas, opt for a pink poinsettia over red — that is, if they’re still available at your local Trader Joe’s. Head over there ASAP to make sure you can still get in on the fun.
