We love the look of a vintage-style mosaic tile floor in the bathroom. Like all true design classics, it matches with pretty much anything, and never really goes out of style. Compared to a lot of other options, it’s quite inexpensive — and when it comes to patterns, your choices are almost limitless. Here are some of our favorites.

Porcelain Tile

2. Retro Octagon Black Dot Porcelain Mosaic Tile, $2.57 per sheet from Home Depot

3. Victorian Hex Glossy White with Flower Mosaic Tile, $55.99 for a box of 10 from Overstock

MIDDLE ROW:

4. Greek Key Matte Black and White Corner, $6.98 each from Home Depot, and Greek Key Matte Black and White Border, $6.98 each from Home Depot. These borders can be paired with any of the tiles you see here.

5. Satinglo Hex Ice White with Black Mosaic Tile from Lowe’s

6. Ceramic Pinwheel Gloss Finish Mosaic Tile, $6.95 per sheet from The Builder Depot

BOTTOM ROW:

7. Manhattan Hex Antique White with Heavy Flower Unglazed Porcelain Mosaic Tile, $66.99 for a box of 10 from Overstock

8. Victorian Octagon and Dot Matte White Porcelain Tile, $78.49 for a box of 10 from Overstock

9. Victorian Hex Matte White Snowflake Porcelain Mosaic Tile, $51.49 for a box of 10 from Overstock

You can also buy sheets of the very basic, all-white hex tile for $5.29 per sheet from Home Depot. This is a great choice if you want to keep the look of your bathroom simple, or if none of these patterns suits your fancy and you want to create your own. You can do this by prying the white tiles from the backing and replacing them with hex tiles in the color of your choice.

Marble Tile

It’s a little more expensive, and results in less of a strict vintage look, but marble mosaic tile is a great way to add a little timeless luxury to your bathroom. Here are some of our favorite picks.
