You Can Rent “The Godfather” Mansion in NYC for an Entire Month
In honor of “The Godfather” reaching its 50th anniversary, the mansion from the 1972 film is available to book on Airbnb for a monthly stay at its Staten Island location.
“Built in 1930, our charming but expansive 6,248-square-foot home has undergone renovations and is completely modernized, while still being recognizable from the exterior for its appearance in “The Godfather” 1972 film,” the homeowners recently shared on Airbnb’s description. Previously, the property was on the market for $1.375 million in 2019.
According to the listing, the family home will be hosting up to five guests to have a long-term stay from August 1 to the end of the month. Throughout the five-bedroom home, guests will have access to most of the mansion, including seven bathrooms, a large saltwater pool, basement pub, game room and gym. There’s only one catch — this offer is only available to one lucky guest.
This isn’t the first time that a famous home is available to rent on Airbnb, in fact, there have been multiple excuses to book a night at an exclusive home. Bad Bunny’s semi-truck home in Miami, the nostalgic Mystery Machine in Malibu, and Issa Rae’s limited-time weekend stay in South Los Angeles are a few of the popular stays available on Airbnb that immediately sold out of their summer availability.
Although this once-in-a-lifetime chance to stay at “The Godfather” mansion is an excuse to invite all of your New York friends and family over to celebrate the film’s anniversary, the homeowners are prohibiting guests from hosting parties or events.
“This is our family home, so please read through the house rules carefully before you request to book,” the owner notes. “We’re located in a quiet neighborhood, so please, no outside or additional guests at any time.”
In order to book the mansion, be prepared on Wednesday, July 27, at 1 p.m. to snag the 30-day stay.
