Suzanna’s Sunny Apartment in the Back Garden
Name: Suzanna Location: Santa Monica, CA Our home is a 800Sqft , 1940’s apartment nestled in the back garden of a house in Santa Monica. I love everything about my place! It’s got beautiful, original thin wood floors, old pane windows that let the light stream in and a lovely secluded balcony to sit out on at any time of the year. My interior design aesthetic fits perfectly with the style of the home.

The drawers were in bad shape, so they were sanded, patched and painted. The top was in decent shape so it was sanded and oiled along with the legs and decorative trim on the drawer fronts.

Before & After: Bedroom Wall Gains Some Gravitas

The gray adds a lot of warmth, making it cozy and relaxing.
