You can banish blah with different fabric, rugs, curtains and wallpaper that all work together in interesting ways and become part of a space that you love to look at — and more importantly, love to live in.

Even with those constraints, they were able to create a refreshing, inviting space. Their home is simple and spartan, but there is always an abundance of good company and delicious food.
