Every once in a while I come across an organizer that seriously makes my heart skip a beat. It’s rare, so when it happens I have to take a minute to tell you guys about it. Earlier this year, I waxed poetic about this $10 flatware organizer for narrow drawers, which I’ll still talk about to anyone who will listen. And just a few weeks ago I came across this wire under-shelf basket … in copper! Yes, I’ve seen under-shelf baskets before.
If we’re all being honest here, there’s a stage in anyone who’s under 30 and recently moved to New York’s life that happens: we assume it will be something like an episode of “Girls.” Maybe a significant other dumps you before/after your short story reading, or you get splashed by a cab right before a job interview and have to explain why you’d be a good something or other, and then you come home to your weirdly gigantic apartment for a freelance writer.

This vintage Airstream had a whole lot of faux paneling and bulky built-ins, but was recently given a breath of fresh air thanks to an enthusiastic couple who “loves to bring Airstreams back to life with a modern update.” This is completely dreamy.
Earlier this year, Target revealed its new line Made By Design that is all about getting back to basics, selling everything from coffeemakers to closet organizers. But the brand’s latest addition supports endeavors of trekking outside the home: with its new luggage. The products are meant to deliver elevated quality and design while staying affordable.
When I told my husband that I was going to write an article about what to get rid of in the dining room, he said without out a breath of hesitation, “How about the dining room?” It’s a bit of “A Subject” at our house because I inherited my grandparents’ entire dining room (the only thing I didn’t keep is the chandelier), and we’ve been shipping it from home to home for a decade.
