On August 30, IKEA launched a program in the U.S. that asks IKEA shoppers to sell back their unwanted, gently-used IKEA furniture. This program is part of IKEA’s goal to become a more sustainable and circular company within this decade.Dubbed “Buy Back & Resell,” the service allows IKEA Family members to sell their IKEA furniture back to the store where the furniture will be resold in the AS-IS section. Those who sell back their furniture will receive store credit.
