Is it just me or does it seem like astrology is everywhere? Not that I'm mad about it—I check about four different sites every Monday and look forward to our Home Horoscopes every month. I was talking to my friend Emily the other day, a true astrology believer, about getting back into the online dating game when she whipped out an astrology card to check on my compatibility with a guy I'd matched with.
And while I strongly advise that you get yourself a cool friend who carries around an astrology card and gives great advice, folks are busy and they may not always be there to help you look to the stars for advice on your love life. That's where the Co-Star astrology app comes in.
Using NASA data and astrology experts, the app can generate your entire birth chart and send you daily horoscope updates. But here's where it gets really fun. You can compare your chart with your friends, lovers and celebrity crushes to see how compatible you are according to the stars. The app is super sleek and pretty thorough and not without some of the woo-woo language that can come with astrology (but that's part of the fun imho).
According the website: "Astrology puts our temporary bodies in context with the universe's vastness, allowing irrationality to invade our techno-rationalist way of living."
The app is free and the design is pretty intuitive given how much information they're dispensing. Happy cosmic sleuthing, everybody!
