What happens when you’re short on space but still want to host guests overnight? Sure, you can pull out the twin bed air mattress and inflate then deflate (and repeat every day of your guests’ stay), or you can invest in one of Costco’s sleeper chairs and save yourself from doing the air mattress shuffle. With a simple pull, you have a twin-size bed ready for snoozing. And then with a push, the bed folds back in and becomes a super comfy oversize chair.

“This cozy chair from Costco pulls out into a twin-size sleeper, which would be so perfect to put into a game room, study, office, or even a bedroom,” Laura from the Costco Hot Finds Instagram account said in a recent video posted on April 6. “It’s actually really comfortable. I’d put a cozy throw over it with some cute pillows. I just love this.”

Unlike an air mattress, the Thomasville Dillard chair is solid and won’t lose its shape during the night. The pocket seat coil cushion provides plenty of support while sitting and sleeping, and the solid wood legs keep the chair firmly in place while you’re extending the bed out and pushing it back in. You can grab the Thomasville Dillard in Costco stores for just under $500, or buy it online and have it shipped to you for just under $650.

If you’re looking for alternative places to shop and buy, check out Wayfair for a similar upholstered armchair on sale for $299.99. And while it will cost you much less than the Costco option, it is only sold as a floor sleeper. You can buy it in two different colors (gray or dark gray), it comes with a pocket on the side of the armrest, and it also includes a spot for a USB cable.

West Elm’s Harris Chair and Half Twin Sleeper is yet another alternative, and it’s completely customizable in color, fabric, and features, which means you can fit the chair to your needs completely.

Just because you’re living small doesn’t mean you have to relegate your guests to the floor. Ditch the air mattress and pick up one of these sleeper chairs instead. You’ll get a great new chair to cozy up in, and your guests will sleep tight all night long.
