You bet I left the sexiest room—the bedroom—of these Love Letters from the Editors for Valentine’s Day. Whether you use your bedroom for love-making, watching TV, sleeping, or some combination of all three, chances are it’s one of your favorite rooms of your home. Who doesn’t love curling up in bed and waking up refreshed? The bedrooms in this list are the best of both worlds: They’re cozy enough to be relaxing but stylish enough to be inspiring.

News & Culture Editor Tara Bellucci loves the bedroom in Arianna Danielson’s Boho Home in Colorado Springs

Normally, I like a light, bright bedroom, but Arianna’s room just makes me want to curl up and never leave. So many layers of coziness and texture… and the cute pup doesn’t hurt.

Lifestyle Editor Taryn Williford loves the “bedroom” in the tour of AphroChic’s Stylish Show Home at Helms Bakery

This isn’t a real home. It’s a showroom, designed by AfroChic founders Jeanine Hays and Bryan Mason. But seeing as Jeanine and Bryan romanticized the space, imagining the couple in the paintings as the homeowners, I’m going to as well. It’s actually kind of shocking it’s not a real home. The portraits beside the bed add so much personality. I used this as inspiration when it came time to put up a gallery room in the bedroom I share with my husband; we each picked our favorites for the sides of the salon wall, and worked in pieces we’ve bought together in the center. It’s a good model for a marriage, or a bedroom (real or fake).

This bedroom is all about the color. It’s such beautiful palette, with the terracotta ceiling and blush walls. But it’s also not precious given that it’s pink. I totally dig the old-school vintage vibe and all the relaxed, lived-in decor. (Side note: I also really like their living room too and regularly use that shot as a lead on my posts.)

Instagram Manager Austa Somvichian-Clausen loves the bedroom in this Modern and Minimal Kit Home

The floor-to-ceiling windows in this entire kit home are beautiful, especially since right outside them are Michigan wetlands. I love the natural wood, plants, and simplicity of the space.

Senior Associate News & Culture Editor Nicoletta Richardson loves the bedroom in the Brooklyn Loft of Aelfie’s Founder

It goes without saying that the patterns are the stars of the show here—just look at that checkered rug! When three unique patterns can exist so harmoniously in one room, you know you’ve got something special.

Commerce Editor Marshall Bright loves the bedroom in this Minimal Montreal Apartment

Okay, this might seem SUPER simple on the face of it, but I love super minimal spaces (probably because I always struggle with clutter, and also why I love staying in hotels). The amazing architectural details speak for themselves, and out the window: Montreal! One of my favorite cities in the world. What more could you possibly want?

Design Editor Bridget Mallon loves the bedroom in this Timeless, Eclectic Oakland Apartment Full of Family Heirlooms

I’m so drawn to bedrooms with dark walls, and this one manages to still feel full of life thanks to the plants and generously-sized wall hanging. I also adore the bed frame and use of bright white linens.

House Tour Editor Adrienne Breaux loves the bedroom in this Dreamy, Collected Buenos Aires Home

I think this is actually a kid’s bedroom, but I don’t care. I’ve always loved the warm, romantic feelings that a sloped, attic-like space can give, and the mix of bold textures and peeling paint in this room is just perfect for me. I could see myself waking slowly, drinking tea in the soft light, and working on my memoirs in the morning.
