Jeff Lebowski’s feelings on the band notwithstanding, The Eagles were beloved to many and inducted in the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame for a reason. Now, one lucky buyer can scoop up his or her own Hotel California: Eagles founder Glenn Frey’s widow just put their Brentwood Park mansion on the market for $15 million.

According to Variety, Frey’s luxurious spread on nearly three-quarters of an acre was purchased by the iconic singer and his second wife, Cindy Millican Frey, in early 2002 for $10 million from late powerhouse television executive Michael King. The mansion features six bedrooms, seven bathrooms and four half-baths (plus ample entertaining and lounging areas) across approximately 8,800 square feet, and is currently listed at $14.995M through Berkshire Hathaway.

The Santa Barbara style Spanish Revival estate features white stucco and exposed wood beams, with a grand and curving wrought-iron staircase in the entryway. The chef’s kitchen, dining room, and several dens all feature oversized stone fireplaces, leading outdoors through French doors to the secluded backyard: a mosaic-tiled pool is surrounded by cabanas, mature trees and rose gardens. It’s a home built for California casual, private entertaining, with several guest bedroom suites as well as a guesthouse with fitness center and a basement level with a home theater and bar.

The Freys owned several other homes at the time of Glenn Frey’s death in early 2016 — including getaways in Hawaii, New York City, and Snowmass, Colorado — and the exclusive on Variety speculates that Cindy Frey’s recent purchase of an $8M New England-style cottage on one of The Bird Streets in the Hollywood Hills was prompted by a desire to be closer to her pal Kris Jenner aka “Kardashian family momager.”

Fellow celebrities who’ve recently put their Brentwood homes on the market include Beck and Alanis Morissette, while Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber recently also purchased a home in the Hollywood Hills adjacent to The Bird Streets — and Matthew Perry and Bridget Jones author Helen Fielding just sold theirs.
