H&M Just Dropped a $25 Version of a Viral Candlestick (Instagram Is Obsessed!)
Although summer may be coming to a close, you don’t need to push floral centerpieces to the back burner until spring. H&M Home just released a new set of candlesticks that will help keep a head-turning floral detail alive all throughout both fall and winter. They’re shaped like blooming calla lilies, and their highly trendy chrome finish will make them sparkle on every table setting you incorporate them into.
“The viral calla lily candle hack made it to H&M Home,” Instagram user Et Bord wrote in a recent caption.

As mentioned by the creator who first spotted them in local stores, these candlesticks are likely a callback of a viral calla lily candlestick DIY that seemingly originated with Toronto-based florist MayBloom in August. The hack involves inserting the stem of a detachable candlestick into the literal stem of a fresh calla lily flower. You can then use some florist wire to attach an LED taper candle to the bloom or replace the top candle cup, as shown in another Instagram video (as well as on TikTok!), to create a gorgeous centerpiece display.
“For now, I consider this an editorial experiment rather than a practical event design,” the caption of the MayBloom post reads. Even so, it seems that calla lily lighting is officially rocketing into the trendsphere this season.

They are made from recycled aluminum, come in two sizes (short and tall), and feature a gorgeous petal-shaped cup. While these finds are indeed new, H&M is already completely sold out of chrome candlesticks online — and its unclear if they’ll restock soon. You’ll need to check your local store if you want to snag a pair in this trendy finish (at least for now!). However, online shoppers can still purchase a matte black option — or check out a matching chrome wall sconce that is also available online, too.
