The 12-Foot Home Depot Skeleton Is Back For Halloween, And They’ve Brought A Spooky Friend
Halloween lovers, brace yourselves: Home Depot‘s 12-foot skeleton is back, and this time, they’ve got a friend with them that is taking spooky season to new heights.
The giant skeleton figurine with LCD “LifeEyes” stole the show last year, doing the viral rounds on social media, and fans are ecstatic about the skeletal giant is coming back. Revealing its much-anticipated Halloween and holiday decor collections on July 14, Home Depot revealed the news of the restock as well as the addition of the “Inferno Pumpkin Skeleton.”
The retailers confirmed that the skeleton will cost $299, the same price as last year. But for an extra $50, you can get your hands on an upgraded version of our spooky pal named “Inferno Pumpkin Skeleton“. The all-new and arguably more frighteningly wonderful version has a pumpkin for a head, a ribcage full of flames, a “refined hourglass figure”, and of course, the LCD LifeEyes that helped make the OG skeleton so popular.
Fans of the skeleton took to Twitter to share their excitement of the spooktacular announcement. One commenter expressed their relief of the skeleton coming back, stating that she can finally sleep through the night (same).
Another user wrote that the giant skeleton is “the greatest thing” they had ever owned. If that doesn’t make you slightly interested in buying one for yourself, I don’t know what will.
This Twitter user has locked in her priorities, and at the top is the Home Depot skeleton.
If you don’t have enough room for a 12-foot skeleton or two in your yard, there are plenty of other alternatives in Home Depot’s Halloween range. From a three-foot animated LED doll , $39.98, that’s the stuff of nightmares to a 5ft hanging skeleton, $29.98, with LED eyes, you can still bring the spooky vibes to your small space.
And if you think a 12-foot skeleton is just for Halloween, think again. You can easily dress up your boney friend with holiday decor and enjoy them right through to New Years and beyond.
The giant skeletons will be available online starting July 16 and in stores starting September. Come one, come all — before they’re sold out.
