Clara used two picture ledges and added hinges to create a fold-down storage solution that keeps keys hidden, tidy, and accessible. In addition to coming up with a whole new use for an IKEA product, it’s a budget-friendly way to store your keys (at only $10 a pop), and it happens to be great for small entryways.

All you need to do is tuck your essentials inside, including your keys and other out-the-door must-haves like a lipstick and a phone charger. The ledge itself looks like a pretty shelf for your entryway, ideal for displaying a small mirror for a final check and a diffuser to create some atmosphere.
