This $10 IKEA Kitchen Find Is a Must-Have for Bathroom Storage

TikTok is full of some of the best ideas for storage solutions, especially when it comes to IKEA hacks. That’s where I recently discovered a trick for converting one of IKEA’s kitchen items into an unexpected bathroom accessory, and it’s perfect for small spaces.

Recently Shayna Alnwick (aka @theflippedpiece) shared a TikTok that shows her shopping at IKEA and coming across the brand’s $9.99 SNÖSPIRA wine bottle rack. She explains that she then brought this home and hung it on a blank bathroom wall next to her sink, using a pencil to sketch out the placement before drilling it in place. From there, she put a rolled-up hand towel in each of the four wine bottle slots for instant bathroom storage. 

Made from lightweight metal, the SNÖSPIRA rack hardly takes up much space at 17.75 inches tall, 6.25 inches wide, and 5.125 inches deep. It comes in a solid black finish, but you can easily spray-paint it brass, silver, or another color that matches your bathroom walls and decor. The wall-mounted piece allows you to take advantage of vertical space. Plus, it’s petite enough that you can stack two on top of each other.

You can also use this small-space-friendly holder in your kitchen for extra dish towels or rolled-up aprons. Consider adding some S-hooks along the bottom to store smaller countertop items too.
