While I’m normally a bit wary of setting resolutions in the new year, one of my intentions is to reorganize my apartment from top to bottom (January Cure, anyone?). I also want to curb my spending, which can get dicey while tackling any new home project. That’s why I’ll be heading to IKEA for all my storage and organization needs. The Swedish retailer’s online marketplace is flooded with super-affordable finds that’ll help clear the clutter for good. To help you make the most of your hard-earned dollars, I scoured the IKEA website to find the best storage buys under $5.

MURVEL Shoe Organizer

If your shoe rack is at capacity, consider stocking up on these smart little shoe organizers. The space-saving design allows you to stack pairs vertically for double the storage space.

HAVREKROSS Wall Organizer Hooks
$1

IKEA’s wall hook selection doesn’t disappoint, and the HAVREKROSS is the most affordable of the bunch. The metal organizer has four hooks for your keys, dog leash, or jewelry, and a wide ledge to rest your phone or notebook. Plus, it’s magnetic, so it’s a great spot to post reminders before you head out the door.

PÄRKLA Storage Case
$2

Off-season clothes, holiday decorations, or spare bedding — the PÄRKLA storage case is the perfect place to keep them all, which is why it’s approved by editors and thousands of IKEA shoppers. The zip-up case slides effortlessly under the bed and is always within reach, thanks to the built-in handle.

UPPDATERA Box
$4$2

Small but mighty, the stylish UPPDATERA storage box brings order to any spot in the house. You can tuck it in a drawer or place it on a pantry shelf, but I think the smooth rounded edges and six matte colorways are worth keeping on display.

SEKINER Hook for Door
$2

Everyone needs an over-the-door hook, and the SEKINER hook truly can’t be beat. You’re also getting two hooks in one: a larger one for bulkier coats and totes, and a smaller one for hats and keys.

$2 at IKEA
HUNDHAJ Spice Rack
$3

Made of recycled scrap material, the HUNDHAJ spice rack boasts a cool terrazzo-like design that adds color to any kitchen. Style it with the high edges facing up to keep cooking oils and spices in check, or flipped over to function as a display stand (or even a helpful ledge for your phone while following recipes).

PÅLYCKE Clip-on Hook Rack
$3

Cooking in a tiny kitchen can get heated, but this handy hook clips onto cabinet shelves to keep your most-used tools and utensils within reach. You’ll never have to frantically search for an oven mitt again.

STUK Box
$5$4

If closing your dresser drawers is a struggle, you need the STUK box (and maybe a good decluttering session). This one features two compartments to keep clothes and socks tidy and easy to locate. Think of the time you’ll save in the morning!

BETTHAJ Tin for Coffee/Tea
$4

Editors loved the look of the BETTHAJ storage containers when they launched last fall. This silver-toned tin brings a playful edge to your countertop. It’s a cute and convenient way to store coffee grounds or tea, and it would look even better stacked on the other BETTHAJ pieces.

GREJIG Shoe Rack
$5

The GREJIG rack isn’t just a place to drop your shoes — it also functions as a shelf riser to maximize your storage. Just add one or more to your closet shelves, or stack multiples to create a custom shelving system. Ingenious!

$5 at IKEA
KLIPPKAKTUS Storage Box for Fridge
$4

We can’t all have a Kris Jenner fridge, but this editor-approved storage box will get you close. The KLIPPKAKTUS box keeps your fruits and veggies in clear view to reduce visual clutter — which hopefully means less food waste. I’d suggest grabbing multiples and stacking them for the full effect.

JONAXEL Wire Basket
$4

IKEA shoppers swear by the JONAXEL wire baskets for everything from bathroom storage (the open wire design is great for ventilation) to closet organization. The outer lip allows them to slide effortlessly out of the matching JONAXEL frame, although they’re also great on their own.
