Michaels’ Mossy Purse-Shaped Pot Is What Your Floral Arrangements Need

Plant pots come in all shapes and sizes, but have you ever seen a planter that… actually feels like a plant? 

Interior designer and artist Kaarin Joy shared a TikTok of two stylish flower pots found at Michaels, including a planter shaped like a purse. Prior to making an arrangement with fake flowers, Joy showed off the adorable purse-shaped pot and one resembling a watering can. 

The Moss Purse is available in a small ($7.79) and medium ($8.99) size, and it wouldn’t hurt to get both for their incredibly low price. They’re both available online at Michaels, so don’t fret if you’re not close to one of their stores. The other pot is in the shape of a watering can and is also sold on their website for $9.

To style these, opt-in for a string of pearls, pothos vines, or a bouquet of flowers that would be a lovely addition to the Moss Purse. Or, as Joy did in her video, add a faux floral arrangement to the purse, plus you won’t have to worry about the upkeep. Either way, the fashionable look of having it filled with plants will take your status as a plant parent to the next level.

They’re recommended for indoor use, and the product details online don’t provide any insight about the item’s drain holes (or lack, thereof), so keep that in mind while deciding your plant. According to Joy’s video, the inside of each pot seems to have a plastic lining, so maybe it’s best if you place an already potted plant into the pot.

While you’re at Michaels, consider buying an extra pot as a housewarming gift or mossy alternative to an Easter basket. After all, spring is around the corner, and just think about how cute an egg-filled watering can would look alongside a plush bunny rabbit.
