The new year has arrived, and there are already so many new pieces to love from IKEA. From storage cabinets and daybeds to candleholders and versatile stools, the Swedish department store has introduced so many great finds in the past few months destined for cultlike status in 2026.

With that being said, I pulled together a list of some of my favorite finds that likely will catch your eye on your next visit to IKEA. They’re all stunning, functional, and instant classics.

IKEA HEMNES Daybed

The IKEA HEMNES daybed might be the ultimate bonus-room furniture piece. By day, it’s a cozy spot to lounge, read, play games, or even work from home. And when you need to host guests at night, the seat pulls out to reveal a full-size mattress.

Plus, the HEMNES is a functional storage unit with three drawers that houses extra bedding, clothing, toys, or anything else that needs a home. The HEMNES also comes in a brand-new sage green color that might just inspire a guest room refresh.

IKEA FÄRGKLAR Dinnerware

Available in a new seasonless powder blue color, the IKEA FÄRGKLAR is an affordable 18-piece dinnerware set you’ll love using on special occasions. The stoneware is finished with a reactive glaze that gives each piece a handmade look. But unlike handmade pieces, these plates and bowls can be put in the dishwasher and microwave. This style is timeless, beautiful, and affordable — especially if you’re looking to update your entire dinnerware collection.

IKEA SÅGMÄSTARE Cabinet

IKEA is known for its modern modular furniture, but the home furnishings chain also offers a few antique-inspired pieces that will blend right into your more traditional aesthetic. The SÅGMÄSTARE cabinet, for example, features decorative spindle-style legs and vintage-inspired beadboard doors. It’s the perfect size, shape, and fit for modern appliances, including coffee makers, toasters, and more.

The light blue color is so calming and neutral, and because the cabinet is made of steel, you can be sure that it will stand the test of time.

IKEA OMMJÄNGE Candleholder

To lean even further into the cozy vibes this year, I’m ditching big lights entirely and only lighting my spaces with table lamps and candles. And this vintage-inspired candleholder is the perfect lighting accessory for winter nights.

It’s from IKEA’s new OMMJÄNGE line, which is inspired by Swedish folk art and furniture, and features a simple glass shade and amber donut-style base in which you put your tea-light candle. It feels both modern and antique at the same time.

IKEA OMMJÄNGE Stool

The solid wood stool (also from the new OMMJÄNGE collection) is going to become one of those IKEA pieces you start to see all over your Instagram feeds. It’s the perfect shape and size for a makeshift mudroom or front entryway, as extra seating in a dining room, or for plants under a window.

Its contemporary-meets-folk design also means the OMMJÄNGE stool can work in a variety of different aesthetics. And you can’t beat the price ($40!) for such a high-quality piece.

Whether you’re planning a room makeover or just want to make your existing space feel a bit more homey, these new IKEA pieces are going to change your space for the better.
