Sustainable home goods brand Russet launched a stylish new coffee table that doesn’t require any hardware to assemble. The company released The Champ earlier this week, a two-tiered coffee table that does not require any screws or nails to put together, available to pre-order for $165. Like with their other products, Russet’s new addition is sustainably crafted from sourced rubber wood.

Whether for knickknacks, cocktails, coffee table books, eccentric candles, or even a makeshift work desk for those never-ending Zoom calls, the stylish coffee table comes in two tiers and a selection of three wooden colors: a light, medium, or dark-stained hue, all for the same price. The bottom tier acts as a shelf for any magazines, books, or bills you’d much rather not look at just yet.

As mentioned, screws and nails are not required — but a rubber mallet would be helpful. The product comes in cut-out slots that fit (and lock in place!) together once all the joints are connected. For those who cannot bear the act of assembling furniture — which, let’s face it, can often be an arduous, stressful task — Russet has heard your calls.

Pre-order: The Champ by Russet, $165 (set to ship in mid-March)

The Champ’s grand debut comes after Russet launched The Sidekick, a side table that also does not require any hardware to assemble, available to pre-order for $75. Described as the “Robin to your Batman,” the “Jay-Z to your Beyoncé,” and the “Jessie to your Walt” by Russet, the side table is also two-tiered and comes in a selection of light, medium, or dark-stained wood.

Stylish and sustainable decor that doesn’t require any tools? The future of furniture is here, and it looks glorious!
