You Have to See Shake Shack’s New Quirky (and Cozy!) Home Decor Launch
From HomeGoods’ viral strawberry stool to the “tomato girl summer” trend, food motifs have had an absolute chokehold on interior design over the past few years. And for good reason — it’s just downright fun. Now, fittingly, restaurants are also getting the food decor memo, with Shake Shack launching a new pillow shaped like a french fry … because why not?
In partnership with editor-favorite blanket brand Bearaby, Shake Shack just released the aptly-named Crinkle-Cut Cuddler pillow to commemorate National French Fry Day (yes, that’s a thing, and it’s this coming Friday). Designed to function as a body pillow, it’s a fry-inspired spinoff of Bearaby’s popular ergonomic Cuddler pillow that debuted in 2022. With this new foodie version, though, the crinkly grooves feel all the more cuddle-worthy — whether you’re a side sleeper, pregnant, in need of more joint support, or just love the idea of curling up with a giant french fry.
For maximum coziness, the Crinkle-Cut Cuddler pillow features a (washable!) yellow velvet cover that adds a cheery pop of color to any bed or sofa. You’ll also get the full fast-food experience when you order one of these via the Bearaby site — it comes in cute takeout-inspired packaging to boot.
The Crinkle-Cut Cuddler is a bit of a splurge at $149, but if you’ve ever bought anything from Bearaby, you know that the brand prioritizes comfort and function above all else. And even if you’re not a fan of the food-turned-decor trend, the pillow’s zig-zag silhouette is unassuming enough to pass as just a statement wavy decor piece versus an obvious french fry. Either way, the bright yellow accent embodies dopamine decor at its finest, however you use or style it!
