We’ve seen that many travelers have been eager to indulge in the #camperlifestyle. This includes scouting the perfect sites to explore and sleep in, but most importantly, shopping around for a camper that will make for the perfect road trip. Add incredibly cute, family-friendly, and comfortable into the mix, and you’ll get the Summit: a charming teardrop trailer from Colorado Summit.

The Boulder-based company currently offers four options of its teardrop trailer, which can be towed by most vehicles. Despite its compact size, the Summit is outfitted with bunk beds that convert into a sofa and a memory foam queen size bed, which can accommodate two children and two adults, respectively. The kitchen galley area is a 15 x 60-inch countertop complete with cooking and dining needs, and also contains swing-out bi-folding doors beneath the rear hatch—an area that can hold food, cooking gear, charcoal and firewood, and two Yeti coolers. The shelving, interior trim, and lighting as well as other features like color of skin, tires, and wheels, can be customized to suit each customer’s needs. Additionally, two lights illuminate the galley for evening cooking.

On the storage side, the Summit is just as accommodating. It’s equipped with under-floor storage space, ample shelving, and plenty of lights. Clad in clear anodized aluminum and framed with structural aluminum, the Summit trailer is built to withstand harsh weather and water. The Summit trailer weighs 1,630 pounds—relatively lightweight—which makes it easy to maneuver and has minimal impact on gas mileage.

The trailer is fully insulated in the walls, floor, ceiling, and doors, meaning that the camper can keep its occupants comfortable on chilly autumn nights and warmer days.

At 5 x 10.5 feet, plenty of campers will surely rank this mobile dwelling high up among the many awesome tiny travel trailers.
